We had a great holiday weekend! Lots of family time and lots of fun. We went to the Chanhassen 4th of July celebration with our neighbors and had a blast! Emily got to ride a camel which was a first. She went for the face painting while Evan opted out... Not sure why he found that scary, he seems to be OK with crayola markers on his face. We went on all of the unsafe rides and stuffed ourselves with yummy fair food! On the fourth, we went to my Aunt & Uncle's for their annual pool party. Both kids swam, even though the weather wasn't ideal for a pool party. They always look forward to this party because they get to see all of their 2nd cousins. The pool was packed with little kids, some of which stayed in the pool for the fireworks show at 10:00! The rest of our weekend was spent hanging out with neighbors, eating popsicles and just enjoying our summer!

Now that we have made our first visit to the family, we can now try and see all of you who we haven't had a chance to visit in years. I told Thad on the way home that we could be in the cities for a week and not see everyone.
I love those pictures. Sounds like it was a lot of fun for you all.
