sigh. is he not the cutest thing? being his mom i can say that, of course. but i'll never disagree if you do too! :)
This is his spaghetti face! He loves spaghetti and loves to eat it himself. He still only has those bottom two teeth, with no others in sight as of yet.
He's not really using any words yet, but everything is "da". said very quick and short. with the occasional "ba", or "ma" but "da" seems to pretty much cover it for him when it comes to dad, emmy, toys, food, etc.
He plays really well and is quite happy to be on his own for short periods of time in the playroom, and for longer periods if Emily is in there with him. He also loves to crawl around and explore (which of course = getting into trouble!). His favorite being the toilet water, unplugging the carbon monoxide detector and pulling grass out of my fica tree planters.
He still adores his big sister, even though she tends to over love him. She's always wanting to hug and kiss him, and hold him, etc. His favorite thing to do is to crawl all over her, especially first thing in the morning.
New tricks are giving high fives and pointing to everything! He's also started waving, it's a cute little floppy wave! He's a lot chattier than emily ever was, he babbles and laughs while he tootles around the house. He has also started making this weird noise when he is trying to fall asleep, it's higher pitched than a moan, but just as annoying! Sometimes it's so loud that if we are rocking him to sleep we can't hear the TV.
He is still walking on furniture and will take a few (1 to 3) steps alone, but that's it for now. Emily was walking by now, so I have in my head that he should be to. I need to remind myself that each kid is different and to cherish the time I have with him before he's running all over.

The poor little guy spent almost his entire eleventh month with a double ear infection. After three medications, I think we've finally gotten him on the road to feeling better. Despite not feeling well, he's been a lot of fun this month! I can not believe that the next posting I will do for Evan will be his first birthday.

If it makes you feel any better, Olivia didn't walk until almost sixteen months! We still can't catch her!
