Auntie Jackie!

My sister is on her way home!! She is currently driving from Seattle and is expected to arrive Friday. We are so happy to finally have her home. She moved away shortly after Em's first birthday so Emily has only known her as the Auntie that lives far away. Emily resembles her in many ways, sometimes it's scary how much. They have the EXACT same finger nails, the same silly smile and when she's mad it's frightening to me how much she looks like Jaclyn. I know that Emily doesn't realize the magnitude of what Jackie moving home actually means. She'll now get to see Jackie on regular days, days that don't involve holidays, or church or even Grandparents. She'll get to go shopping with her, she'll be able to come to her dance recital and watch her play T-ball this summer. All the stuff you remember as a kid, Jackie will now be a part of. Jackie has even talked about teaching Emily to snow board. (The mom in me secretly hope she waits until next year.) I can't wait to see how their relationship unfolds...
